Gum inflammation disease is a condition that damages the soft tissues that surround the human teeth and also attacks the bones that support them. It often comes in diverse forms and stages. The condition comes with severe bleeding and inflammation. In extreme cases, it goes ahead to destroy the bones that support the teeth completely. A recent medical report carried out showcases that nearly half of adults suffer from gum inflammation diseases at one point in their lives. Another recent study from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that nearly half of American adults aged 30 and over have some form of gum inflammation disease. Actually, many people have some degrees of gum inflammation which often result from a dental plaque containing bacteria.
